I had the 1\2 of hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes. Was amazing. Roast beef was tender & gravy was awesome. Sweet tea is amazing too.

Good home style food every time and great service with fair pricing.

Had breakfast Saturday morning with 2 friends. The restaurant was full.The food came out in a timely manner and was fresh and good. The restaurant was well staffed. The half order of biscuits and gravy was very big, a meal in its self. Will be back the next time I'm in town visiting.

The best Biscuits & Gravy this side of the Mississippi! Actually, some of the best food you will have period. Prices are great and the food is better. Don't pass up this place if you want amazing down home food. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Drys were great as well as the philly and the steak

We've been eating here at least 3 times a month for several years. LOVE their breakfast! The staff are all friendly and the food comes out hot, fast and tasting great!

It had a charming log cabin decor, Awesome coffee, delicious French dip & yummy pickled beets. The waitress was friendly & my sister said her BLT was good too. Their fries are the best I've ever had

The waitresses here know their menu & keep you moving with the best homestyle cooking in Belton! If you want a great greasy spoon at its finest, The Family Cabin will do it! If you need your napkins folded just right, don't bother coming, but if you want great fried chicken or salmon patties (my favorite on Fridays), you gotta try this fairly priced meal! This fried chicken will compare to anyone's in the area!! Terri is the BEST!!!

I really want to like this place. The building looks really cool. Sadly when I have gone here the food is never great. I have only been for breakfast but as far as breakfast the menu is very bland and the food isn't much better. The service hasn't been that great either. I've given this place 4 chances. Only one time was the service good. The other 3 it was rough.

This spot never fails to impress. They serve fantastic dishes for convenient pricing, there no long wait even when the spot is loaded.

I've been twice so far, on Saturdays mornings, both times. It was busy, but the food was delicious, came out in a timely manner and our waitress was very attentive! The special of the day and coffee was $9.13. Will be back soon!!

Food is awesome. Staff is very friendly. Ambience is very relaxing.

There was 19 school bus drivers that met there after morning route. Got seated and served. I believe everyone got everything they ordered. It was all fresh, hot, and delicious. Thanks to the staff there. They are awesome.

I called in a to go order and when I got there to pick it up they hadn't even put the order in yet. So I had to wait longer to get my food to go and still charged me full price and no apologies.

I love the family friendly atmosphere, plus everyone that works at the cabin is so kind and caring just like a family is supposed to be! I just love the Family Cabin plus the food is great!!!

I want to Thank Family Cabin for helping us host a family get together of my father and his two siblings. As they are all getting up in their senior years. We got a room to ourselves, about 10 of us and we felt very well taken care of. The restaurant was a great place for them and everyone liked it and the food. We appreciate all the Love for these wonderful matriarchs. Thank you.

Best chicken noodle soup I think I may of ever had. The chicken we had was fried fresh and dang the ice tea was delicious!!!! I love this place! Home cookin and a home feelin’!

I ordered pancakes with blueberries and they were really gross. I tried their sourdough bread...again...my taste buds were not happy. The only thing in my meal that was ok was the bacon. The service was good and they kept our drinks full. The food was just really gross.

Comfortable setting. The waitresses are over kind at times. The bacon is very hit of miss. Often your bacon might look like the microwave variety and the person across from you has a plate full of real bacon.

My daughter and my husband had delicious meals. The chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes that I ordered, honestly was awful. I hope it was a one time kind of thing. But, since we lice nowhere near there, I'll never know. But hey, 2 out of three meals isn't bad. The service was good, until she served our food. Then we never saw her again. Maybe we looked content?

Seems like a great place to eat, but very slow getting our food. Waited for 30 minutes for biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. Had to take it to go, only had an hour for lunch today. Would have loved to try the food fresh. Maybe next time when I have longer to sit around I'll eat there again.
